Fhenix, a Layer-2 network leveraging Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), has announced two new initiatives to drive adoption of its ecosystem, according to the most recent updates disclosed to Finbold on August 20.Â
The programs, a grant and a bounty initiative, are set to attract developers and projects looking to build on the Fhenix L2 platform.
Applicants can apply via dedicated pages on Fhenix.io.
The Fhenix Grant Program
The Fhenix Grant Program encourages developers to leverage confidential computation through FHE.Â
As such, the program targets those working on FHE infrastructure or looking to deploy confidential applications on the blockchain.
Fhenix is particularly interested in projects that bring innovative use cases or develop essential tools for managing data secured by FHE.
Applicants are expected to provide detailed plans, including key milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs), and those who qualify will receive funding to help them realize their vision.
Once submitted, applications will undergo a thorough review by the Fhenix team, who may request additional information.
The grant program is tailored for larger projects aiming to strengthen onchain confidentiality using FHE.
The Fhenix Bounty Program
In addition to the grant initiative, Fhenix has organized a bounty program to cater to smaller, more focused projects.Â
Fhenix will connect suitable applicants with available bounties, rewarding successful participants once they have completed their projects.
Together, the grant and bounty programs are set to introduce more developers to Fhenix’s Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible Layer 2 platform.
By aiming for increased innovation in confidentiality, Fhenix wishes to highlight the transformative potential of Fully Homomorphic Encryption in blockchain.
